Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Palytt. By creating an account, accessing the app, uploading content, or using Palytt, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and our Community Guidelines.

You must be at least 13 years old to use Palytt. If you are under 18, you represent that you have permission from a parent or guardian. You are responsible for your account, credentials, and all activity under your account.

You keep ownership of photos, captions, comments, ratings, profile content, and other content you submit. You grant Palytt a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, moderate, adapt for formatting, distribute, and otherwise use your content to operate, improve, promote, and protect Palytt.

You represent that you have all rights and permissions needed to upload your content, including any rights related to people, locations, brands, restaurants, music, images, or other third-party material shown in the content.

Palytt has zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. You may not post or use Palytt for content or conduct that:

• is illegal, fraudulent, threatening, harassing, hateful, exploitative, or abusive;
• contains nudity, sexual content, graphic violence, malware, spam, or scams;
• violates privacy, publicity, copyright, trademark, or other rights;
• misrepresents sponsored, compensated, or affiliated recommendations;
• collects user information without consent or evades blocks, bans, rate limits, or moderation;
• uploads non-food images where a food/drink upload is required, or otherwise abuses image uploads.

Palytt provides tools to report posts and block users. We may review, remove, restrict, label, or refuse content; limit visibility; suspend accounts; preserve evidence; or notify law enforcement when appropriate. We may use automated and human review. Moderation decisions are made at our discretion and may be imperfect.

Restaurant data, maps, ratings, dish recognition, AI summaries, and recommendations may be incomplete or inaccurate. Palytt does not guarantee restaurant hours, menus, prices, ingredients, allergens, availability, nutrition, or safety. Always verify details with the restaurant and use your own judgment.

If you receive compensation, free meals, discounts, gifts, affiliate benefits, or any other material connection related to content you post, you must clearly disclose it in a way that is easy for other users to notice. Palytt may label, restrict, or remove undisclosed sponsored content.

Palytt and its software, branding, designs, and non-user content are owned by Palytt or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, scrape, or misuse them except as allowed by law. Copyright complaints can be submitted through our DMCA policy.

You may stop using Palytt at any time and may request account deletion in the app or on our account deletion page. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create risk, or misuse the service. Some records may be retained as described in the Privacy Policy.

Palytt is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties and are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, lost profits, or lost data.

These Terms are governed by California law, excluding conflict-of-law rules. Courts in California will have jurisdiction unless applicable law requires another forum.
